The Gainesville Lady Leopards won the championship in the 7th grade division at the 2020 First State Bank Cooke County Shootout Saturday.
Gainesville defeated Ponder 31-29 in overtime in the championship game.
Muenster beat Callisburg 26-6 for third place. Lindsay downed St. Mary's 30-18 for the consolation title.
In the 8th grade division, Montague won a title at this tournament for the second-straight year, defeating Lindsay 45-31 in the finals. Muenster downed Valley View 14-8 in the third-place game. Ponder defeated Callisburg 31-19 to claim the consolation title.
Saint Jo and Collinsville were not able to attend the tournament because of the winter weather conditions.
