Alvord 31
The Muenster Lady Hornets used a 21-0 run to end the game and defeated Alvord 61-31 Tuesday.
Muenster only led by 9 (40-31) in the third quarter, but they held Alvord without a point for more than 10 minutes and ended up cruising to the win.
The Lady Hornets led 15-5 after the first quarter thanks to 11 points from Annie Anderle including three 3-pointers. She added a couple more 3's in the second as the lead grew to 31-14.
But Alvord clawed their way back in the third period, scoring 17 points in the first few minutes to pull within 9. But 8 points from Martie McCoy and two more 3-pointers from Anderle helped Muenster finish the game with 21-straight points to help the Lady Hornets improve to 26-4 overall and 4-1 in district.
Anderle finished with 25 points, McCoy added 13, Kaitlin Hennigan scored 10, Audrey Kubis had 7, and Kaley Berkley and Sarah Monday each added 3.
Valley View 70
Tioga 16
The Valley View Lady Eagles stayed in second place in District 12-2A with a 70-16 win over Tioga Tuesday.
Valley View improves to 5-1 in district play, just one game behind undefeated Collinsville.
Era 58
Chico 16
The Era Lady Hornets remained undefeated in district play with an easy 58-16 win over Chico Tuesday.

Tom Bean 44
The Lindsay Lady Knights traveled to Tom Bean and came home with a 51-44 district win.
Allison Hedrick led the way with 16 points, Story Tatum and Tatum Fleitman each added 8, Rachel Hutcherson scored 7, Jasmine Lewis had 6, Kyla Metzler added 3, Maggie Krahl had 2 and Skylar Tatum added 1.

The Callisburg Lady Cats dropped a road game at Gunter, falling 56-16 Tuesday night.

Muenster 67
Alvord 35
No. 6 ranked Muenster Hornets shook off a slow start to roll over Alvord Tuesday 67-35.
The win improves Muenster to 16-3 overall and 3-0 in district.
Danny Luttmer led the Hornets with 24 points, Major Eldridge added 13, Garrett Hess and Bryson Culwell each added 10, Grant Hess scored 7 and Cade Stevens added 3.
The win marked Muenster's 67th straight district victory.
Valley View 49
Tioga 37
The Valley View Eagles picked up a big district win Tuesday, knocking off Tioga 49-37.
Valley View is now 3-1 in district, which is good for sole possession of second place behind Lindsay.
The Eagles led 26-23 at halftime.
Cameron Byrom led the way with 14 points, Bryan Avalos added 10, Colby Lewis scored 8, River Callihan had 7, Ed Rico and Clint Epperson each scored 4, and Kyle Stewart added 2.
Lindsay 57
Tom Bean 51 (OT)
The Lindsay Knights needed overtime Tuesday to remain unbeaten in district play, but thanks to a 57-51 road win at Tom Bean, the Knights stayed perfect in league play.
Four Knights scored in double figures. Seth Foster had 16, Tyler Yancey added 14, Jack Popp had 13 and Clinton Wallace added 12.
Lindsay is now 4-0 in District 12-2A, one game ahead of Valley View.
Gunter 75
Callisburg 70
It was another classic between Gunter and Callisburg as the Tigers squeaked out a 75-70 home win over the Wildcats.
The two teams played an overtime thriller to begin district play earlier this month.
Callisburg is now 20-8 overall and 2-5 in district play.
Era 61
Chico 30
The Era Hornets picked up a key district road win Tuesday, crushing Chico 61-30.
